E-commerce Product Cards
Project Overview
Product cards are one of the most influential touchpoints in an e-commerce journey. The goal of this initiative was to redesign Olímpica's product cards by reducing cognitive load while presenting the information customers need to make faster purchasing decisions.
The project combined user-centered design principles with business objectives to create a more scalable and conversion-focused shopping experience.
Design Process
The work started with a comprehensive benchmark of leading e-commerce platforms across retail, marketplaces, and supermarkets. I analyzed information hierarchy, pricing strategies, trust indicators, promotional content, and interaction patterns to identify best practices.
Based on these insights, I redesigned the product card system, defining flexible layouts, content priorities, responsive behaviors, and reusable UI patterns that could adapt to different product categories and promotional scenarios.
Final Outcome
The redesigned product cards provide a clearer visual hierarchy, improve product discoverability, and help customers make purchase decisions more efficiently across the shopping journey.
The solution established a scalable component that supports multiple categories while balancing commercial goals, usability, and consistency throughout the digital experience.
