Design System
Project Overview
As Olímpica's digital ecosystem continued to grow, maintaining consistency across products became increasingly challenging. The objective was to evolve the Design System into a scalable foundation that supported multiple teams while improving design quality and development efficiency.
The initiative focused on creating reusable components, documenting design standards, and establishing clear guidelines to ensure a consistent experience across web and mobile platforms.
Design Process
I audited existing interfaces, identified inconsistencies, and prioritized the components with the highest impact on the user experience. Working alongside developers and product teams, we standardized design patterns, tokens, and interaction behaviors.
Each component was documented with usage guidelines, variants, states, accessibility considerations, and implementation specifications to support seamless adoption across teams.
Final Outcome
The Design System became a shared foundation for designers and developers, reducing duplicated work and enabling faster, more consistent product delivery across the organization.
Beyond improving visual consistency, it established a scalable framework that supports future product evolution while strengthening collaboration between design and engineering.
